Invisalign straightens teeth more comfortably than wire braces and without the restrictions of normal braces. There are no eating, drinking, or sports restrictions because the aligners are removed while eating or playing sports.

Invisalign works by using a series of custom-made aligners made of a clear material. Most people will not even notice the braces unless you tell them. Each set of aligners works to move the teeth toward an improved position in the jaw.

Each set of aligners is worn for a predetermined amount of time before moving to the next set. The first few days of a new set may be slightly uncomfortable as the teeth get used to change, but this is normal.

The aligners are easily removed for cleaning and eating and are usually worn for approximately 2 hours a day, depending on the treatment plan determined by the dentist.
